Day 1: Drive to Bwindi National Park

Pick up from a hotel by our driver guide after your tasty cup of tea or coffee to embark on 8-10 hours’ drive to Bwindi National Park. En-route, make a stopover at Equator crossing in Kayabwe for photography and relaxation. At Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Centre, you have lunch. After, drive to southwestern Uganda while enjoying the rolling hills in this particular part of the country. Dine and spend a night at Buhoma Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp/Bakiga Lodge (Mid-range), Buhoma Community Bandas/Rushaga Gorilla Camp/ Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp (Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, you will gather at a respective trailhead in Bwindi National Park as per your gorilla permit to join other visitors for briefing on the set safety measures that you have to observe while on a trek. Gorilla treks in Bwindi National Park start in Rushaga, Buhoma, Ruhija and Nkuringo. You will be allocated to one habituated gorilla family to trek in a group of eight visitors.  At 8:00am, you kick start your adventure to search for a group of mountain gorillas in the wild and this may last you 2-6 hours depending on your hiking speed, location of these creatures and nature of habitat. After the an hour of magical encounter, return to the lodge to have rest and in the evening, you have a walk to Batwa or Bakiga community for thrilling cultural experience. Dine and spend a night at Buhoma Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp/Bakiga Lodge (Mid-range), Buhoma Community Bandas/Rushaga Gorilla Camp/ Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp (Budget).

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe
