Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla forest

Your professional safari guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer for Bwindi impenetrable National park. The travel takes a minimum of 8 hours and the drive takes you through the grasslands of Ankole, famous for its long horned cattle. Continue through the highlands of Kigezi with their beautifully terraced hills usually referred to as Switzerland of Africa.

Here you will have lunch break and opportunity to stretch your legs. Continue with the journey through beautiful scenery sighting the volcanic Virunga Mountains on a clear day. Arrive in Bwindi National Park in the evening. This park is the home of more than half of the worlds remaining mountain gorillas.

There are also a wide variety of primates to see including the blue and red tailed monkeys in this dense green forest. You take an early sleep to be able to wake up early the following day for your expedition.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Gorilla Forest

After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office for a pre-gorilla tracking briefing by the park warden and rangers, then lead you into the forest to track these gentle giants (Mountain gorillas).

The adventure of spending time observing the gorillas as they interact with each other is a pleasing and unforgettable one, you are allowed an hour witnessing the interaction of these close relatives of ours. You are advised to carry with you a packed lunch for, the time spent tracking the gorillas varies from 3 to 8 hours.

Day 3: Departure

After breakfast, we will depart for Lunch en route. A stopover is made at the Equator for photography. Later, transfer to the Airport for flight back home.
